TDot Performance founders Charith Perera and Mubin Vaid pitched their company on Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s (CBC) Dragons’ Den. The reality television show features entrepreneurs pitching their business ideas in order to secure investment finance from a panel of venture capitalists.

TDot Performance made a strong pitch to the venture capitalists who host the show.

Michele Romanow made the key bid for $1 million, Perera and Vaid were vying for.

“Our mission is to provide Canadians with the highest quality performance parts without the headache that comes with ordering from the US. Our customers are never charged any customs duties or brokerage fees, as is the case when ordering from the States,” states TDot Performance.

Perera and Vaid who were childhood friends grew their business which hit the Profit Hot 50 ranking. In 2015, sales hit $6.5 million.
