Sunday Dhamma School begins in Mississauga

Sunday Dhamma School begins in Mississauga on September 15 at 3PM sharp at Rick Hanson Secondary School, signalling the beginning of 2013-2014 semester.

He advised all parents with children attending Dhamma School to arrive at least 20 minutes early as mediation will start at 3PM sharp and asked teachers to arrive by 2:30PM

“During the holidays, in Consultation with the Venerable Monks and the Tutorial Staff, I had summoned the coordinators to several discussions on the Education Content of the Dhamma School and about what steps we should take to improve and ensure the quality of religious instructions we impart to our children so they will embrace the most noble spiritual and religious values which form the core/substance of Buddha Dhamma, ” said Bhante Saranapala, Principal, Dhamma School of the West End Buddhist Temple & Meditation Centre, which is managed by the Halton Peel Buddhist Cultural Society.
