The annual general meeting and the election of office bearers for 2016/2017 of Sri Lankan Tamil Seniors Group of Etobicoke was held recently.
The president in his address thanked all members of the association for their cooperation in the past and those who have taken care of the 22 children in Vanni who have lost their parents in the war ended in 2009. He stressed the importance and need for Sri Lankans living in Canada to support the less fortunate in Sri Lanka and to do more than what has ever been done before.
