SL Canadians protest forced cremations during COVID-19

Sri Lankan Canadians held peaceful car rally in Toronto to protest forced cremations of Muslim victims who passed away from COVID-19.

Globally, only Sri Lanka and China are the only countries that forcefully cremate remains of COVID-19 victims.

Organizers welcomed Sri Lankan Canadians of all faiths and ethnic backgrounds for joining them in the parade and thanked them for their participation.
