The world’s largest seller of real estate RE/MAX is eagerly breaking into the Sri Lankan market. The network which boasts 100,000 salespersons in nearly 100 countries recently opened its master franchise in Sri Lanka under the leadership of Sujan Shan.
“We have high expectations of growth in the real estate market in Sri Lanka and to meet our goals, we need professional brokers and agents who want to work hard, earn good money and match their preferred lifestyle,” Larry E. Oberly, Vice President, Global Development RE/MAX LLC told Lanka Reporter.
“Our top priorities for international development are to continue to provide professional real estate services across borders and to revolutionize the real estate industry within Sri Lanka and around the world,” he added.
RE/MAX was founded in 1973 by Dave and Gail Liniger, allows its agents and franchisees the flexibility to operate their businesses with great independence. It is expected multiple franchises across the country will become available in various cities.
“The many opportunities in Sri Lanka are as promising as they are challenging. We believe proven entrepreneurs like Sujan, with existing connections in the Sri Lanka market, can be very successful in growing RE/MAX market share in Sri Lanka,” Oberly added.
“We are excited about the opportunities in Sri Lanka and are looking forward to improving people’s lives through the leadership of Sujan Shan.”
