William Osler Health System (Osler) Foundation kicked off the public portion of its $30 million fundraising campaign earlier this month for the new Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness (Peel Memorial) at Brampton City Hall.

Peel Memorial is a new, state-of-the-art hospital that is currently being constructed in downtown Brampton. Providing complimentary services to Brampton Civic Hospital, Peel Memorial will also offer a range of specialty clinics, day programs and services – from high-tech diagnostics and surgery, to women’s and children’s health.

While the government will pay 90 percent of the cost of construction, Osler Foundation must raise $30 million through the community to help complete the construction and to provide 100% of the funds to equip the facility. That represents everything from the waiting room chairs to high-tech diagnostic equipment.

As such, it is important that the message get out to the community, both about the new facility and the need for funds. We would really appreciate you covering the launch. To make things easier, we are attaching both a matte story as well as some photos with captions you could utilize. Please see below for the captions.
