CAMPACC Sri Lanka Malay will perform on Sept 23 at theInternational Music Education Center Canada (IMEC).

IMEC is a non-profit organization that inspires the public to learn music, make music with others, embrace the music of different cultures, and become a part of the music community. We make this possible by providing the resources necessary to learn the art and by hosting events that inspire a greater appreciation – Cultivate an appreciation for different cultures and promote multiculturalism.

The first festival was successfully held in October of 2017. The 2018 IMEC International Musical Arts Festival is scheduled from September 21-23 in the Greater Toronto Area. The festival will have a wide variety of features ranging from children & youth musicians to professional musicians and international performers. The Festival has attracted many diverse communities and countries involvement. of the art.

“Music Workshop”: Chinese Sheng (Prof. Li Li), Indian Sitar (Dr. Lata Swarn) and 6-string Bass (Mr. Vinnie Venkov)

Day 2-1: September 22, 2018 | 3:30-6:00 PM

“Music Stars Concert”: performed by talented children and young musicians, some of them got awards from different music competitions or festivals.

Day 2-2: September 22, 2018 | 7:30-9:30 PM

“Piano Legacy Concert”: Three Canadian top pianists (Michael Esch, Michael Berkovsky, Li Wang) will bring their talented students to perform in the concert, it is special and innovative style of piano concert.

Day 3: September 23, 2018 | 6:00-10:00 PM

“World Music Concert”: International musicians come from China, Mexico, US, Cuba. Local musicians come from the communities of Argentina, Spanish, Indonesian, Armenian, Indian, Chinese, and other multi-communities.
