Sri Lankan Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP M.A. Sumanthiran made a brief visit to Ottawa last week.
Sumanthiran made a courtesy call to Canadian Liberal MPs Arnold Chan and John McCallum.
“Good meeting on Sri Lankan issues with MP M.A. Sumanthiran and @ArnoldChanMP. Report on war crimes due March 2015,” John McCallum tweeted.

Meanwhile MP Sumanthiran held a meeting with NDP MPs Rathika Sitsabasian in parliament.
“Good to meet Sri Lankan TamilMP M.A. Sumanthiran about human rights and justice in Sri Lanka,” tweeted Dewar who is also the opposition critic for foreign affairs.
