John Keells Properties will be presenting their latest projects Cinnamon Life and TRI-ZEN in Toronto, Canada on the 21st of January 2018. The company will also sponsor the first ever Women in Management (WIM) awards to recognize Canadian Sri Lankan Women in business. This is the first time that John Keells Properties are promoting their developments in Toronto.
Canada is home to the largest Sri Lankan expatriate community outside of Asia.
“This is a very exciting time for Sri Lanka, as we are seeing the real estate sector growing exponentially. We at John Keells are very bullish about this sector, and we will continue to be the driving force behind the changing landscape, and Colombo’s burgeoning metropolis. We continue to see a strong demand for apartments from Sri Lankans living overseas,” Roshanie Jayasundera Moraes, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of the John Keells Group said.
Cinnamon Life is the latest integrated development by the John Keells Group, and will consist of an 800-roomed luxury “Cinnamon” hotel, an array of entertainment facilities, premium residential apartments, retail and entertainment mall, office spaces, and many other attractions to set stage as the entertainment hotspot in the Indian Subcontinent, according to a press release from the developer.
The development’s iconic design by Cecil Balmond will span across 4.5 million square feet, and is envisioned to be the epicentre of modern South Asia.
800 roomed 5 star hotel, will be the centerpiece
The iconic 800 roomed 5 star hotel, will be the centrepiece of the development. The Hotel will house high end restaurants, entertainment options, trendy alfresco bars and lounges. The Hotel will also have large conference and banqueting spaces that could accommodate close to 4900 pax in total in three different locations.
The development will also consist of two residential towers totalling 427 apartments. ‘The Residence’ at Cinnamon Life is a 45 storey tower, with a mix of 2,3,4 & 5 bedroomed apartments ranging from 1130 sq.ft to 4722 sq.ft. ‘The Suites’ at Cinnamon Life is a 39 storey tower, with only 2 bedroomed apartments from level 6-37, and 4 bedroomed Penthouse apartments on level 38&39, the news release further added.
The retail mall is spread across five levels, and is positioned as an experiential mall with a mix of activities for everyone. It will have a wide variety of Food & Beverage options, and will be the culinary haven of Colombo.
A 30-storey dedicated office tower that combines cutting-edge functionality and world-class design, our office space in Colombo redefines what a modern workspace should be. When completed, it will be THE business address in Sri Lanka. Each floor will have a usable area of 10,564 sq.ft.
This project is Sri Lanka’s largest private sector investment, and it will be the driving force behind Colombo’s changing landscape. Once completed, with seamless connectivity, you can live, work, play and stay in one location.
TRI-ZEN is John Keells Properties’ latest project focusing on metropolitan spaces that cater to the needs of Colombo’s growing class of working elite. From Union Place, TRI-ZEN’s residents will have immediate access to the city’s best hospitals, restaurants, schools, hotels, shopping malls and more. Moreover, its central location takes hours spent in traffic out of the equation-which means residents can luxuriate in the extra time freed up every day to spend time with family and friends.
TRI-ZEN’s apartments are based on smart design principles to maximize space and comfort, and this efficient design allows these apartments to be affordably priced. Common open spaces are a key design feature throughout the property; the perfect spaces for conversation, relaxation and contemplation. This green urban escape is designed for both solitude and company- stay in on a Sunday and enjoy the city’s drowsy reverie, or go out on a Friday night to one of the many cafes, bistros and restaurants situated only minutes away.
