The International XI may also include legendary West Indian batsman Brian Lara.

Alistair Campbell, Chief Selector of the event said, “Brian Lara (West Indies) is close to being signed,” but assured that “the greatest batsmen of all time will be the team captain.”

The game will take place at the Rogers Center in downtown Toronto, the first stadium to have a full retractable roof. The venue hosts Major League Baseball matches for the Toronto Blue Jays and will be the centerpiece when Toronto hosts the 2015 Pan-American games.

Organizers say tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.
