Seamless connections from Toronto to Colombo

Passengers traveling from Toronto now benefit from Etihad’s expanded connections to destinations in South Asia, including Sri Lanka. The new Airbus A350’s schedule is designed to optimize travel time, offering convenient onward flights to Colombo through Abu Dhabi. With the added bonus of Etihad’s seamless transit options, Toronto travelers can expect a smooth journey from Canada to Sri Lanka.

Etihad’s ambitious North American expansion

In addition to the Toronto service, Etihad continues to expand its North American footprint with daily flights to Boston beginning November 1, 2024. The airline now operates 42 flights weekly to North America, with services twice daily to New York JFK and daily flights to Boston, Chicago, Toronto, and Washington, D.C.

Etihad also offers travelers from the U.S. a streamlined immigration process through its U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility in Abu Dhabi, allowing for easy connections and a hassle-free entry into the United States.

Stopover programs in Abu Dhabi add travel flexibility

Etihad’s stopover program allows travelers to enjoy up to two free nights at premium hotels in Abu Dhabi, providing an opportunity to experience the UAE’s vibrant capital city. For travelers en route to Sri Lanka or other destinations, the program turns a layover into an enriching stay.

“The introduction of our A350 to Toronto and expanding to daily services to Boston reflect our ambitious growth plans in 2024, set to take another major leap at the end of November when we announce an exciting lineup of new destinations,” added De.

With this new aircraft upgrade and added North American services, Etihad continues to strengthen its network, providing Canadian passengers with enhanced service and superior connectivity to South Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.
