York University Centre for Human Rights is hosting ‘What’s Next for Sri Lanka?’, a discussion presented by The Mosaic Institute, on October 28.

“The discussion is timely, as Sri Lanka prepares to host the 2013 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in its capital Colombo,” says Prof. Jennifer Hyndman in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies and the director of ORU-Centre for Refugee Studies, who will moderate the session.

A leading Sri Lanka expert and commentator, Dr. Paikiasothy Saravanamuttu, executive director of the Centre for Policy Alternatives, a research and advocacy group focused on the country’s public policy, will be the special guest speaker at the discussion.
