The Canadian Tamils’ Chamber of Commerce (CTCC) has introduced a new leadership team following its 2024 Annual General Meeting, held at the CTCC Business Centre. The meeting unveiled the 2024/2025 board of directors and welcomed Ari A. Ariaran as the chamber’s new president, setting a dynamic vision for the future of Tamil businesses in Canada.
Outgoing CTCC president highlights chamber’s recent achievements
Outgoing President Murali Sivaguru provided a detailed overview of the chamber’s accomplishments, including record-breaking sponsorships and strengthened community partnerships that have supported CTCC’s initiatives and events. “Our achievements would not have been possible without the dedicated support of our sponsors and valued members,” Sivaguru said as he acknowledged the contributions of the Tamil business community across Canada.
New president Ari A. Ariaran’s vision for innovation and resilience
Incoming President Ari A. Ariaran emphasized the importance of adaptability and resilience for the CTCC’s future. “During my tenure, I aim to foster a culture that encourages innovation. The world around us is rapidly changing, and we must adapt and evolve with it,” Ariaran stated. “In today’s fast-paced environment, businesses need to be resilient, adaptable, and forward-thinking. Yet, we must also remain steadfast in our core values—integrity, mutual respect, and a commitment to uplifting one another.”
