Sudesh Muthu was awarded the record for “longest male dreadlocks” by Guinness World Records. The dreadlocks measured at 1.91 meters (6 feet 3 inches) long at the World Record office in the United Kingdom. The resident of Thornhill, Ontario migrated to Canada from Sri Lanka in 1995 follows the Rastafarian movement.

The father of three says he started growing his hair 23 years-ago when he was captivated by the music of Jamaican musician Bob Marley during his school days in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
