Bambara Walalla ‘Whirlwind’ to screen in Toronto

Athula Liyanage’s film Bambara Walalla will be screened in Toronto’s Albion Theatre on September 13 at 4:30 PM.
The film received critical acclaim and several awards including a “Remi” award the 43rd annual World Fest-Houston International Film Festival in 2010. It also grabbed the award for best feature film at the SAARC film awards.
Bambara Walalla was Liyanage’s first feature film, prior to his entry into filmmaking he was known in Sri Lanka’s stage drama community as a director and actor.
