“Pretty in Pink Brunch” a Ladies brunch in Aid of Breast Cancer is MedicAid Sri Lanka’s first event in support of Indira Cancer Trust’s efforts in making a change in the lives of those impacted by cancer.
MedicAid SL is a Canadian Registered Not For Profit organization that has been supporting medical needs in Sri Lanka.
The objective of the pretty in pink brunch is to provide financial support to ICT to enhance and continue their support for those in need, as such, all proceeds from this event and donations will be sent to ICT.

Indira Cancer Trust (ICT) a Voluntary Social Services Organizations bearing Registration No. L-169705 was formed in 2016 in Memory of Indira Jayasuriya, who lost her battle to breast cancer, a mother of 2 beautiful children who risked her life for her unborn child.
Today, it has grown into an organization offering support to patients with cancer and their family members through 23 programs with a dedicated team of staff, coordinators and a volunteer force of over 600.
All services provided are free of charge and ranges from supporting patients and families with medicines, Investigations, livelihood support, educational scholarships and much more. Additionally, there are also
several landmark projects being implemented and include the operation of Sri Lanka’s first helpline for cancer, first hair & wig donation campaign as well as Sri Lanka’s first Pediatric palliative care
center for children with cancer.
Indira Cancer Trust. Maintains close relations with the Ministry of Health, professional bodies as well as other civil society organizations working in the area of cancer to ensure that maximum possible support
is given to patients and families with cancer.
In order to enhance early detection of breast cancer, the highest female cancer in Sri Lanka, Indira Cancer Trust has also embarked on a continuous campaign for breast cancer, TLC (Touch, Look , Check
Campaign) coupled with a Pink Wednesday program initiated by Mr Roshan Mahanama
