Whispering Hope Fund donates medical equipment to Cancer Hospital in Sri Lanka

Pushpa Collure of Toronto, presented laproscopic equipment costing approximately $10,000 purchased from Healthcare International, Sri Lanka, to the surgeons at the Maharagama Cancer Hospital, Colombo, on behalf of the Whispering Hope Fund in Toronto.

Whispering Hope is a community based organization in Toronto, dedicated to raising funds for the purchase of urgently needed surgical equipment for the Maharagama Hospital.

Celebrating its 10th year in existence, Whispering Hope has donated over $120,000 of surgical equipment and pharmaceuticals to the patients of the hospital, according to the Whispering Hope Committe. The equipment has been used to treat thousands of patients over the years, thanks to the kindness and generosity of the people of Toronto.
