Sri Lanka’s condo laws modeled after Singapore: Platinum Realty CEO

Sri Lanka’s condominium laws are robust and modeled after Singapore’s laws word-for-word says Kishore Reddy, CEO of Platinum Realty Investments. Reddy was in Toronto to pitch Colombo’s latest condo project Platinum 1 located in the plush district of Colpetty.
Platinum 1 boasts Sri Lanka’s first-ever multi-elevated car park, the automated system takes minutes to park and retrieve a vehicle, faster than the average valet service, Reddy said.
Reddy was joined by Platinum 1’s Canada representative Rienzie Martinesz as hosts for a special cocktail party to announce the project in Canada.
Fifty percent of units at the condo were sold, says Reddy who embarked on tour of several expatriate cities to “find the right mix of residents at Platinum 1.” He says land to build in the city was limited, urging investors vying a Colombo address to seize the opportunity.
