Canadian funny man Russell Peters recently concluded his most successful world tour to a sold out crowd in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

“Notorious is officially over! Thank u Sri Lanka for being an awesome audience Sad that my tour is over but I’m excited to see what’s next!” he said on his twitter account.

“There are some very beautiful women here in Sri Lanka!!!!”

At an earlier press conference in Colombo, Peters told the Daily Mirror his first visit to Sri Lanka was a low-key affair.

“To me Sri Lanka is like a really clean India, the last time I was here you guys didn’t have a highway” with his wicked sense of humour he questioned “by the way, who let the dogs out?”, the newspaper reported.

Peters has sold-out arenas from Madison Square Garden to the Sydney Opera House, and his Notorious World Tour has become the highest attended comedy tour in the history of Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Lebanon, South Africa, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and his home country of Canada,
