Jaffna Central, Vembadi alumni raise funds for SickKids Foundation

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and SickKids Foundation has thanked the Jaffna Central College Old Boys’ Association and Vembadi Old Girls’ Association for their fundraising efforts.

“Through their wonderful fundraising initiatives, they have both creatively engaged their communities and raised over $50,000 for critical priorities at SickKids,” Emily Clark, Community Events at SickKids Foundation said in a letter to the associations.

“We are incredibly humbled by their loyal support and philanthropic spirit. Their generosity has allowed us to remain at the forefront of Paediatrics, integrating cutting-edge research, innovative education and world-class programs into patient care.”
